This past weekend we celebrated St. Patty’s Day on Saturday, March 18th. We had a small group over and of course I cooked up a storm. Corned beef and cabbage in the slow cooker, Irish chicken with potatoes in the oven, my version of a vegan Spinach Artichoke dip and my new favorite Stonewall Kitchen’s Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix.
Our family has tried quite a few gluten free chocolate chip cookie mixes, but none have compared to Stonewall Kitchen. My husband didn’t read the instructions, go figure, but he worked through it and created the dough. I added some candied bacon and green sugar to the top of the cookies before putting them into the oven.
They turned out so amazing and honestly they are the best gluten free cookies I’ve had in over 5 years. These cookies are for everyone, gluten free eaters or not. I can’t wait to try my Stonewall Kitchen cornbread mix and brownie mix next. I’m thinking with the promise of rain this week perhaps my turkey chili will make an appearance.
